The verdict

Why you'll love it

  • Torquey, smooth 350cc engine
  • Dual-channel ABS
  • Most agile and affordable RE
  • Strong brand appeal and resale

What might annoy you

  • Heavy for daily Dhaka traffic
  • Engine heat in jams
  • Stiff rear suspension
  • Limited service network outside big cities
Best for:Upgrading from 150cc to a 350Weekend highway ridesStyle-conscious city riders

How it rides

Low-revving, torquey and relaxed — it pulls cleanly from 30 km/h in third and cruises happily at 80-90. Shorter wheelbase and 17-inch wheels make it the most agile RE, but it still feels heavy next to a 150cc.

Quirks owners talk about

181 kg is a lot when pushing it in a Mirpur parking lot; the engine throws real heat on your thighs in Dhaka jams; firm rear suspension crashes over BD potholes and speed breakers; small 13 L tank for a 350.

Brakes: Dual-channel ABS with discs at both ends is genuinely good and confidence-inspiring on wet roads.

Mechanic's note

Service only at IFAD's RE 3S dealers (mostly Dhaka and a few big cities); local mechanics are still learning the J-series engine, so out-of-Dhaka owners rely on the dealer network.
