Feather-light with a screaming DOHC engine that wants to live above 9,000 rpm; brilliant on an empty road, frustrating in jams.
Quirks owners talk about
Peaky engine is weak below 7,000 rpm, so city riding means constant gear changes. Skinny 90/80 front tyre. Parts are imported from Indonesia and can take weeks. Smaller fan base than R15 means weaker resale.
Brakes: Dual-channel ABS with a strong front disc provides confident braking.
