  • Light and easy to ride
  • Easy rebuild

What might annoy you

How it rides

Light and rev-happy with a bright two-stroke buzz, easy to handle, but slow and shaky on highways.

Quirks owners talk about

Engine size (99cc), power, torque, weight and tyres are approx, unverified: BikeBD's blog (launched in BD early 1986, production ended ~1992) gives no cc. Reported ~20 kmpl average; heavy smoke and 2T oil use. Most units are 30+ years old with replaced parts; wiring and CDI units often need replacement.

Brakes: Drum brakes front and rear, adequate for the weight but weak when worn.

Mechanic's note

Older mechanics know it well and it is cheap to rebuild; genuine Honda parts are mostly gone, so repro and Japan-surplus parts fill the gap.
