Why it wins
- Dual-channel ABS keeps both wheels from locking in a hard stop, the top level of braking safety in our quiz (dual ABS, then single ABS, then CBS, then none). On wet roads and with a pillion, that matters most.
- 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm, highway 9/10 and comfort 8/10: it overtakes cleanly with two on board.
- Against the Yamaha FZ25 (also dual ABS): 24.5 vs 20.8 PS, pillion 8/10 vs 7/10 and resale 7/10 vs 5/10, for ৳42,000 less on the road.
Who it suits
- In our quiz, with the budget set at its own on-road price, it comes first for: mixed riding from Dhaka, some riding experience, a pillion every day, with performance and safety as priorities.
- Riders moving up from a 150 cc bike who carry a passenger often and want the best brakes they can buy at this price.
Trade-offs
- 164 kg and city handling 5/10: heavy in a jam and in tight lanes. Beginner-friendly only 5/10; not a first bike.
- 30-36 km/l and a service of about ৳2,800 every 3,000 km: running costs are a big step up from a 150.
