Price as of 2026-10, with BRTA registration. Scores are ours, out of 10. How we rate
Why it wins
- Resale 9/10, shared among new bikes only with the Splendor+ and the R15 V4. In 21 used listings we checked (2026-10), one-year-old bikes asked about ৳2,75,000 and three-year-old ones about ৳2,50,000, against ৳2,92,500 new.
- Reliability 9/10, mechanic familiarity 9/10, parts 9/10. The FZ family is the 150cc platform Bangladeshi mechanics know best after the Pulsar.
- Easy to live with: 790 mm seat, 136 kg, a fat rear tyre, front ABS and a rear disc. Beginner-friendly 9/10.
Who it suits
- In our quiz, with the budget set at its own on-road price, it comes first for: a Dhaka commute, a shorter rider, rarely a pillion, with low maintenance, resale, safety and style as priorities.
- Buyers who plan to sell or upgrade in two or three years, and first-time 150cc owners who want something that will not surprise them.
Trade-offs
- Modest power: 12.4 PS. It runs out of breath above 100 km/h. The Gixxer FI ABS makes 13.6 PS for ৳9,550 less on the road, but its resale is 7/10.
- ৳3,04,264 on the road is a lot for its power. You are paying for the badge, the network and the resale.
- Mileage 40-45 km/l, normal for a 150. Some owners find the seat hard after an hour.
