Price as of 2026-10, with BRTA registration. Scores are ours, out of 10. How we rate

Why it wins

  • The most powerful 150 on sale: 19.2 PS from a liquid-cooled DOHC engine that pulls to over 10,000 rpm, and a performance score of 9/10.
  • Light: 134 kg, 7 kg less than the R15 V4, which also makes less power (18.4 PS) and costs ৳75,050 more on the road.
  • Dual-channel ABS with discs at both ends, the top braking setup on our list. Six gears.

Who it suits

  • A specialist: in our quiz, with the budget set at its own on-road price, it comes first for: riding for fun, a shorter rider with some experience, rarely a pillion, with performance as the priority.
  • Weekend riders with a second way to get to work, and experienced riders who want a light sport bike more than a status badge.

Trade-offs

  • Parts and mechanics: availability 4/10 and familiarity 4/10. Brake pads and the air filter are dealer-only, a clutch plate set is rare, and imported parts can take weeks.
  • Peaky in traffic: weak below 7,000 rpm, so Dhaka jams mean constant gear changes. Comfort 4/10, pillion 3/10.
  • Resale 6/10, against 9/10 for the R15 V4. A service costs about ৳3,000, and mileage is 35-42 km/l.
