Price as of 2026-09, with BRTA registration. Scores are ours, out of 10. How we rate

Why it wins

  • Reliability 9/10 and resale 9/10. Only the FZS FI V4 and the R15 V4 match that resale among new bikes, and both cost far more.
  • Cheap to run: 60-70 km/l real-world, a service every 3,000 km at about ৳800, mechanic familiarity 10/10 and parts 10/10.
  • Against its usual rival, the Bajaj Platina 100: the same mileage, resale 9/10 vs 7/10, tubeless tyres, and ৳18,450 less on the road.

Who it suits

  • In our quiz, with the budget set at its own on-road price, it comes first for: commuting in a district town, a first bike, a pillion now and then, with resale and lowest price as priorities.
  • Buyers who want a bike that costs little, breaks rarely and sells easily, and who ride mostly in town.

Trade-offs

  • Check it is in stock first. Hero Bangladesh lists the model but shows no price, so our price comes from one review site. Confirm the price and stock at a showroom.
  • Drum brakes at both ends and no CBS, on thin tyres that skate in the wet. Leave a big gap in rain.
  • 8.02 PS and 4 gears, top speed about 85 km/h. Highway 4/10, and it struggles on flyovers with a pillion. The HF Deluxe has the same engine for ৳1,500 less, with lower resale.

Rankings come from our own scores and the quiz scorer, not a road test. Showroom prices move often: confirm the price and registration cost with the dealer before you pay. Disclaimer
