Price as of 2026-10, with BRTA registration. Scores are ours, out of 10. How we rate
Why it wins
- Light: 99 kg, the lightest motorcycle we list (scooters aside). City handling 9/10, the top score, so it is easy to push, turn and stop in a jam.
- Fuel injection, the only one on our list under ৳1.3 lakh. No carburettor to clean, and it copes better with bad petrol and cold starts.
- Beginner-friendly 10/10, a 786 mm seat, reliability 9/10 and CBS, which brakes both wheels from the left lever.
Who it suits
- In our quiz, with the budget set at its own on-road price, it comes first for: a daily commute in Dhaka, a first bike, a pillion now and then, with low maintenance as the priority.
- New riders, office commuters on short city routes, and anyone who spends more time in jams than at speed.
Trade-offs
- 7.38 PS and 4 gears, highway 3/10. Overtaking buses on a highway takes planning.
- Drum brakes at both ends; they feel wooden with a pillion. Thin seat foam (comfort 6/10) gets tiring after an hour.
- Mileage 55-62 km/l, against 60-70 km/l for the Hero HF Deluxe, which also resells better (8/10 vs 7/10) and costs ৳4,500 more on the road.
