Why it wins
- One of only three bikes on our list with top reliability (9/10) and top mechanic familiarity (10/10). The other two are Hero's 97cc pair.
- A simple 109cc carburettor engine with 8.4 PS, a little more pull than the 100s. Parts availability 9/10, and a service costs about ৳900.
- A low 775 mm seat, 107 kg, CBS and tubeless tyres. Beginner-friendly 10/10.
Who it suits
- In our quiz, with the budget set at its own on-road price, it comes first for: a mix of town and highway riding from a district town, a pillion now and then, with low maintenance and safety as priorities.
- Riders far from a dealer who need any mechanic to fix it, and anyone who wants years of daily use with no surprises.
Trade-offs
- The carburettor needs cleaning and tuning now and then, more often after bad petrol.
- Drum brakes at both ends, 4 gears, and vibration above 70 km/h. Highway 4/10, comfort 6/10.
- Plain, dated looks and resale 7/10. The Livo 110 has the same engine size and a front disc for ৳20,000 more on the road.
